Kadıköy is a large, populous, and cosmopolitan district of Istanbul, Turkey on the northern shore of the Sea of Marmara. The population of Kadıköy district, according to the 2007 census, is 509,282.
The district is home to the Turkish football club Fenerbahce SK's home venue, the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
