He has been a FIFA-listed referee since 2006, and registered in Istanbul, Kadıkoy discrict.
Türkiye Futbol liglerinde Fenerbahce kulübü tarafından temsil edilen Kadıkoy ilçesinde, kendisine ait sigorta acentasında iştigal etmektedir. [1]
2007 yılında UEFA tarafından mentör kursuna davet edilmiş ve buradaki eğitiminin ardından uluslararası karşılaşmalarda görev almaya başlamıştır.

- Şike soruşturması sırasında Aziz Yildirim'ın özel evrakı arasından çıkan ve kamuoyunda Aziz's List olarak bilinen hakem listesinde ismi Fenerbahce'li olarak geçmektedir. [2]
